This glossary defines 30 payment and mobile-play terms in the order a Malaysian player meets them at U88: deposit routes (e-wallet, DuitNow QR, FPX, bank transfer, USDT TRC-20), cashier floors (RM30 in by bank transfer, RM50 out), bonus maths (turnover, rollover, winover, rebate tiers) and account rules (KYC, third-party payments, self-exclusion). U88 figures appear only where U88 publishes them.
Thirty terms, four groups: getting money in (e-wallet, DuitNow, FPX, bank transfer, USDT TRC-20, the cashier categories), reading the bonus (turnover, rollover, winover, rebate tier), getting money out (RM50 minimum, caps, processing time, third-party payments) and staying in control (KYC, self-exclusion). Jump to any term from the list below.
Last updated: 6 September 2026Which payment and mobile-play terms do U88 players in Malaysia need to know?
Standard meanings come first in every entry, then the U88 figure where U88 publishes one. Where a number is set by your bank or wallet app rather than by the operator, the entry says so, because that is the distinction most payment questions turn on. Entries are grouped by the order you meet them: getting money in, reading the bonus, getting money out, and staying in control.

Getting money in
E-wallet
A licensed e-money app that holds a prepaid balance and pays merchants or people from it. In Malaysia the largest are Touch 'n Go eWallet, Boost, GrabPay and ShopeePay. Only Touch 'n Go eWallet appears on the U88 cashier.
Touch 'n Go eWallet
The most widely held Malaysian e-wallet, run by TNG Digital. It is the one electronic wallet listed on the U88 cashier. The wallet's own verification tier, not U88, sets the balance ceiling and the daily transfer limit.
DuitNow
Malaysia's real-time payment rail, operated by Payments Network Malaysia (PayNet). Transfers between participating banks and e-wallets land in seconds, and most wallet-to-bank movements in Malaysia ride on it.
DuitNow Transfer
A DuitNow payment addressed to a person or business by a proxy such as a mobile number, NRIC or business registration number, or by account number. Your bank's daily third-party transfer limit applies, and the payment is irreversible once sent.
DuitNow QR
Malaysia's national QR standard. You scan a code with any participating banking or wallet app and approve the payment. On the U88 cashier the QR Pay category is DuitNow QR, handled by the Truepay 2 gateway.
FPX (online banking)
Financial Process Exchange, the PayNet service that lets you pay by logging into your own internet banking during checkout. Daily FPX limits are set per bank, and several banks share that limit with DuitNow.
Bank transfer
Moving money from your bank account to account details issued by the cashier, by internet banking or ATM. At U88, Bank Transfer deposits start at RM30, and the listed banks are Maybank, Public Bank Berhad, CIMB, Hong Leong and RHB.
Quick Pay
A U88 cashier category in which the system generates a bank payment instruction for your exact amount and assigns one of its gateways to collect it. Crediting is usually instant to minutes.
P2P Transfer
A U88 cashier category that issues account details for one single request. You transfer the exact amount to those details and paste the reference. The details are not reusable for a later deposit.
Payment gateway
The processor that sits between your bank or wallet and the operator's balance. The U88 cashier routes through four: EeziePay, VaderPay, Truepay 2 and Touch 'n Pay. You do not choose one; the cashier assigns it when it generates your instruction.
Cashier
The deposit and withdrawal area inside a logged-in account. It shows the categories, floors and limits that apply to you at that moment, and it is the final word whenever a guide and the screen disagree.
USDT
Tether, a stablecoin pegged to the US dollar. U88 accepts USDT deposits with a 100 USDT minimum and shows the MYR conversion rate live in the cashier before you confirm.
TRC-20
The token standard on the TRON network. It is the only USDT network U88 accepts. Sending on ERC-20 (Ethereum) or BEP-20 (BNB Chain) does not reach the deposit address and cannot be recovered.
Minimum deposit
The smallest amount a deposit route accepts. At U88 the stated floors are RM30 by Bank Transfer and 100 USDT by Crypto; the other categories show their own floor in the cashier before you confirm.
Playing on a phone
One wallet (single balance)
One account balance shared by every product, so there is no transfer step between games. At U88 a deposit funds sports, esports, live casino, slots, fishing, 4D and poker from the same balance, on the phone and on desktop.
Browser play (no APK)
Playing through the phone's browser rather than a downloaded app. U88 runs this way on Android and iOS, so nothing is sideloaded and the same login works on every device. An APK is an Android install file obtained outside the Play Store.
Reading the bonus
Turnover (wagering requirement)
The total stake you must place before bonus-linked funds become withdrawable, written as a multiple. U88's 100% welcome bonus up to RM800 carries 12x turnover on deposit plus bonus; the live casino tier carries 25x.
Rollover
Another word for turnover. Some operators count rollover on the bonus only and others on deposit plus bonus, which changes what the offer costs. U88 counts deposit plus bonus.
Winover
A requirement measured on winnings rather than on stakes: the bonus becomes withdrawable once winnings reach a set multiple of it. U88 uses winover, at 8x, on its 918Kiss welcome tier.
Welcome bonus
A match on a first deposit, one claim per member. At U88, sports and slots get 100% up to RM800 at 12x turnover, live casino gets 50% up to RM300 at 25x, and 918Kiss gets 150% up to RM300 at 8x winover.
Daily cash rebate
A percentage of the previous day's valid turnover paid back as cash. U88's Unlimited Daily Cash Rebate pays from RM1 with no maximum, is released at 12:00 GMT+8, is withdrawable from RM50 with no turnover, and excludes 918Kiss.
Rebate tier
The VIP level that sets your rebate rate. U88 runs Normal, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. Slots pay 0.40% at Normal rising to 1.00% at Diamond, and sports and esports run from 0.30% to 0.80%.
Cashback
In general use, a refund of part of your net losses over a set period. U88 does not run a loss-based cashback; the promotion on this site's cashback page is the Daily Cash Rebate, which is paid on turnover whether the session won or lost.
Birthday bonus
A once-a-year reward claimed during the member's birthday month. At U88 it is requested through 24/7 support, scales with VIP tier, and may require verification of the date of birth on the account.
Getting money out
Minimum withdrawal
The smallest payout request accepted. At U88 it is RM50 on every route, and the same RM50 floor applies to withdrawing the daily cash rebate.
Withdrawal cap
The most that can be paid out per request, per day, or under one promotion. U88 caps withdrawals at RM50,000 per transaction and per day with a maximum of three requests a day, and slot play under the welcome bonus is capped at RM10,000.
Processing time
How long a deposit takes to credit or a withdrawal takes to land. U88 states that verified withdrawals are generally processed in minutes; bank hours, network activity and an open verification check stretch that.
Third-party payment
A deposit from, or payout to, an account in someone else's name. U88 holds rather than credits them: both the funding account and the receiving account must carry the full name registered on the account, which is the first thing to check when a withdrawal is returned to balance.
Staying in control
KYC (verification)
Know Your Customer, the identity check an operator runs before paying out. At U88 the document asked for is your identity card (IC). Completing it once, before the first withdrawal, keeps later payouts from pausing in review.
Self-exclusion
Closing your own access to an account for a fixed period. U88 also offers deposit limits and time-outs (short cooling-off breaks); all three are requested through 24/7 support. Free, confidential helplines are listed on the responsible gaming page.
